Well
QOCmembers are you ready for the next action day? Come and
pit your driving skills on the Haynes
Motor Museum proving and testing ground at Sparkford Yeovil
in Somerset just off the A303.
Last years event was a very wet and windy day that I hope
shall not be repeated this year. However the day was still
enjoyed by all.
The format shall follow the previous years and hopefully
get three runs for each person. We shall be starting at 10am
through to 5pm with a break for lunch from 1 till 2. Remember
its not just about speed, its about enjoying yourself and
going at a pace that suits you. There is only one car on the
circuit at anyone time and being around fellow enthusiasts
proves to be a great day out.
The classes are as follows:- MK1, MK2, 2+2, H4, Xtreme and
the ladies challenge.
There is the famous museum to look around and as a club
we get the customary discount too on production of your membership
card. There is a children's playground for those bringing
the younger members of the family and if enough time will
allow I shall introduce the children's driving challenge in
a dual controlled Smart car.
So if you would like to take part or just come down and watch
phone or e-mail me.
At the Stoneleigh QOC AGM I shall be presenting last years
winners with their certificates and trophies.
