> Xtreme
Although
unashamedly of Lotus 7 inspiration, the Xtreme offers refreshing
styling and surprising practicality - the lockable boot has
the capacity to house all of the weather gear, as well as
a weekend bag!
The
car is based around an exceedingly high quality stainless
steel monocoque chassis, the torsional stiffness of which
has been tested at over 4000 NM/, far superior to the 2000
NM/ typically achieved by traditional spaceframe construction.
All fixing holes are laser cut into the chassis - even for
the items such as the wiring loom, brake pipes and fuel lines
- with captive nuts where required. All components can therefore
be easily and precisely fixed to the chassis, without the
requirement of any specialist tools.
The
entire suspension set up is designed and manufactured specifically
for the Xtreme, so there is no dependence on Sierra components,
which would be completely unsuitable for this type of car.
This combination of race-derived suspension and uncompromising
chassis gives class leading ride and handling.
